With the globalization and the development of economy, poverty has become some of the most popular topics in the world. However, the proportion of poor people is still very high and many people suffer from hunger every day. The poverty condition in Uganda is even worse, especially in the rural areas. In order to eliminate the poverty and improve the living standard, the people all over the world should cooperate. This paper shows focus on reasons of rural poverty in Uganda, provides the government’s policies and the world organizations’ assistance and gives some advice to eliminate rural poverty.
