Abstract: As Hillary Rodham Clinton is the presidential candidate, there is a debate about whether America ready for a woman president or not. After introducing the background of American election, the paper gives the example about the male and female leaders in the politics world. Not every male leader is successful and the women have proved that the politics isn’t the game of the men world, they also can hold up the half sky in the politics. From the biography of Hillary, the author gets the conclusion that Hillary has got the president’s characters. Then, the writer gives the analysis of the inequality and cause of different gender in the politics.

I. the background of American election
Every four years, the America will be born a new president, from the Democrats or Republicans, for example, Kennedy was from the Democrats but Nixon came from the Republicans. In 2008, the new American Presidential Election is showing on. This year of the U.S. presidential election will be doomed to create a historical record and full of suspense. As so far, there are three main presidential candidates, the Republican candidate John McCain，the Democrats candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
According to the U.S. Constitution, U.S. implements the presidential system, presidential elections hold once every four years. U.S. presidential election system is complicated and lengthy processes. The main election procedures include primaries election, the party's National People's Congress convened determine presidential candidate in the party, presidential candidate, the voters electing "the president, elector", and the establishment of the Electoral College vote on the formal election of the President and President-elect inauguration Ceremony, and several other stages[1].
However, American presidential election of 2008 has the Epoch-making significance. It is full of racial discrimination on black people, sex discrimination on women in U.S. history, even though there are also hidden in fact exist. That can be also be said, the American people, especially the common people including the color, women, the person who come from the working class and even from the poor, paid a huge price for the equality, freedom, democracy. During that time, it was full of the struggle and tear, the success and failure. Today, the American people still try their best.
The election will also fill with the historical and realistic competitions because of the struggles between the candidates with different types of voters. It is a war without weapons between the black, the woman and the old man.
“If you choose me, all the problems will be solved!” Here she is. Hillary Rodham Clinton is expected to make the United States women’s political road improve. According to the survey, the political status of women and the road which they participated in politics were tortuous and difficult. So far, the last first lady, Hillary, must attract the people’s attentions because of her public opinions and experiences in politics. From the rational factor and the reality of America, Hillary will possibly be the first outstanding woman president[3].
This poll was conducted among a nationwide random sample of 1,229 adults, interviewed by telephone January 20-25, 2006. The question was” is American ready for a woman president?” Forty percent said yes and fifty-three percent said no in November 1996. However, fifty-five percent say yes and only thirty-eight percent say no now. People actually more likely say the country is ready for a woman to be president. Fifty-five percent of people say yes, compared to forty percent of people in 1996. When it comes to politics, more and more people think the country is ready for a woman president. Liberals are also more likely than conservatives and moderates to believe America is ready for a woman to be president[17].
What is more, here is the Hillary present supporting level.
The graph shows that Hillary has win sixteen states, but she has big distance with Obama in the first election. She needs more votes. She is the third (29%)[5].

The figures shows that more and more people support her, her supporting level was the highest in Feb ,2008. But as time pass, some people turn to Obama. The number has less. What will happen in the future?[6]
There are many kinds of polls in many fields, for example Hillary Clinton' supporting level in woman and man, in white and non-white, in democrat independent and republican, and so on! Some people support Hillary, others oppose her. Different voices have different causes.

Alex, a male interviewee, says “I think a woman can be a successful president because women have been good leaders in other countries for years. Our constitution guarantees that all mankind is created equal. I think that some women are smarter if not as smart as men, they have more common sense, and I believe that a woman would not be as quick as a man to start wars. Besides, how would people know if this woman, from the streets is really better than Clinton? She is the best choice.”
Clinton's support for the war in Iraq was the leading reason she lost the support of the group, which calls itself "New York Feminists for Peace and Barack Obama!" The group based their opposition to Clinton on "her seven-year record as senator." Despite her recent pledges to remove troops from Iraq, the group stated, Clinton's "record of embracing military solutions and the foreign policy advisers she has selected make us doubt that she will end this calamitous war."
After reading some reference sources, I found people pay attention to the gender of Hillary. The president is a rational job, but a female is usually sensible? People doubt whether a female can administer the whole country. So my questions are following.
II. Is politics always the game of men in the world?
Every country has famous male scientists, the male doctor; the male architects, especially the male leader in all kinds of fields. All over the world, the politics is man’s patent. Man is the history of erection. It is the truth that man is strong, big, powerful, violent, aggressive, power, and honor, brave, rational.
It is easy to say the name of American president, they were all men. They dedicate their all the life to fight for all the people’s happiness and freedom. It seems all the time that the politics is the game of the men. In the political arena, man own the absolutely power to control the whole world. But was every male president excellent? Did all their efforts or political dreams come true?
Snow is a symbol of winter; the winter without snow is unperfected. But in the winter, at the beginning of 2008; the south of our country met the heavy snow. After the long days with heavy snow, people realized that the white snow without ending could also be a big disaster.
On Feb. 6 2008, as most Chinese prepared dinners for New Year's Eve family reunions, Wen Jiabao, the Chinese Premier, had a busy travel schedule that took him around the country's winter disaster areas.
